Versatility of an acoustic shell
There when the orchestra plays. Unnoticed when it doesn't.
The first acoustic shells were stone, in the open-air amphitheatres of Rome. Today's shells share a stage with every kind of performance, so they have to be versatile and discreet.
Ours are developed and built with light, attractive materials that make them as practical as possible. They adapt to the orchestra: add modules as the ensemble grows, and adjust their arrangement to the type of performance.
A shell is stage equipment that is easy to assemble and disassemble, and imperceptible when it's not being used.
Modular
120 × 120 cm modules, coupled up to four high for a continuous 480 × 120 cm diffusing surface.
Configurable
More or fewer modules, and different angles, depending on the stage and the formation.
Discreet
Fixed shells rise into the stage ceiling; portable shells go back into their flight cases.
